Millbridge Brook Meadows, opened in 2014, is a community green space owned by Gamlingay Parish Council and maintained for the benefit of residents.

In 2024, we celebrated its tenth anniversary with a community picnic (pictured), birds of prey display, burial of a time capsule, prize competition, and exhibition in the Eco Hub. A new map and celebratory logo were created.

Later in May, pupils from Gamlingay Village Primary visited the meadows. Gamlingay’s nearby Community Turbine, which began operating in 2013, has been another innovation, providing funding for meadow projects, and villagers had the opportunity to see it at close quarters with two visits on May 18th.
