Burial Grounds and Closed Churchyards
The Parish Council is responsible for maintenance of St Mary’s and the Baptist Chapel Churchyards (now both closed for burials) and the cemeteries on Stocks Lane and St Mary’s (both open for burials and the interment of cremated remains).

Community centres and village halls
The Eco Hub (old Gamlingay Community Centre) is run by Gamlingay Community Centre Ltd. Website is www.eco-hub.info There are a variety of different spaces to hire for private and commercial events. The building is fully accesible to the disabled and has ample parking. For booking enquiries please contact the Centre Manager on 01767 651226/ 07980 612077. email manager@eco-hub.info
The Old Methodist Chapel on Green End is available for evening, weekend and school holiday daytime bookings. Please contact the Clerks Leanne and Kirstin on 01767 650310 or email clerk@gamlingay-pc.gov.uk

Income charges 2019-20
Parks, playing fields and recreational facilities
The recreation field, skatepark, Butts playground, Bowls green, Tennis Courts and Millbridge Brook meadows are all accessible from Stocks Lane – parking available in the Eco Hub car park. The Parish Council is responsible for these areas. The recreation field can be hired for casual use – please contact the Clerks for further information.
Seating, litter bins, memorials and lighting
Please contact the Parish Council to report any problems with benches around the village, litter, dog poo and salt bins. The Parish Council is also responsible for the war memorial in St Mary’s cemetery, the village sign and some of the foot way lighting in the village.
Grasscutting
The Parish Council is responsible for grass cutting of the verges within the 30/40mph limits and for the recreation field, Butts playground, Northfield Close play area, Merton field (off Green Acres), the Pitt, Chapel field open spaces, Millbridge Brook meadows, lower field and St Mary’s field.
Grants
Every year the Parish Council makes grant funding available to local groups. Applications are considered twice a year and forms must be submitted by the third Friday in February and October each year. Click here for an Application form Grant application and info 2019
